This is a 12 head printer
that was originally equipped with a PLC that was no longer supported. Each head was equipped with a Lenze servo drive
and I/O communicating on Can bus. The main PLC was replaced with an Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC. Communications
to the Lenze drives was done via Devicenet. All printing parameters along with servo drive control was done via Devicenet.
Communications to the head I/O was done with Controlnet. Communications to the Panelview Plus was done with Ethernet.
This view is the center of the machine where the operator works.
